Wedding Makeup in Vancouver
Wedding-day makeup planned as a morning, not a single appointment — the bride, the bridal party, the timeline and the photographs all accounted for.

Who provides wedding makeup in Vancouver?
Makeup by Haleh (Vancouver Beauty Land) provides professional wedding makeup in Vancouver and Greater Vancouver. Haleh Ahmadi, winner of the Canadian Choice Award 2026 in Makeup, applies makeup on location for the bride and the wedding party on the morning of the wedding.
What does a wedding makeup booking include?
Skin preparation, a look agreed in advance at the trial, application on location for everyone in the booking, and a schedule built backwards from your ready-by time so the bride finishes closest to photography.
Where is it available?
Yes. All services are provided on location throughout Vancouver and Metro Vancouver, including North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Coquitlam, New Westminster, Delta, White Rock, Langley and Maple Ridge. Destination requests are considered case by case.
Can makeup be refreshed later in the day?
Touch-up support after the ceremony or before evening photographs can be arranged when it is requested at the time of booking, so an artist is scheduled to stay rather than added at the last minute.
How does booking work?
Send your date, getting-ready location, ready-by time and party size through the inquiry form, by email at info@makeupbyhaleh.com, or by phone or WhatsApp at +1 (604) 771 6617. Haleh confirms availability and sends the options that fit your event.
The wedding morning, planned in reverse
Wedding makeup fails on timing far more often than on product. The morning is therefore planned backwards: the photographer's arrival, the dressing window, travel between the suite and the ceremony, and the number of faces to be finished before then.
Each person in the party is given a slot, the bride is scheduled last so her makeup is freshest for portraits, and buffer is left where the day realistically slips — hair overrunning, family arriving, traffic across a bridge.
- A written timeline shared before the wedding week
- Bridal party, mothers and guests scheduled in sequence at one address
- Early-morning start times for daytime ceremonies
- Optional touch-up attendance for later photographs
Makeup that photographs the way it looks in the room
Wedding photography moves between window light, flash, evening interiors and often rain-soft daylight outdoors. Base products are chosen so the skin holds its finish across all of them, without the flashback that turns a beautifully applied face pale in a photograph.
Definition is placed where the camera reads it, and the lash, brow and lip are balanced so the look survives being seen from three metres away and from thirty centimetres away in a close-up.
Second looks and evening changes
Some weddings need two looks: a softer ceremony face and a stronger evening one for the reception, or a change of lip and lash between a religious ceremony and the party afterwards. Mention this in your inquiry and it is scheduled rather than improvised.

Questions
Will my wedding makeup last all day?
Yes. Long-wear products are layered over preparation chosen for your skin type and the length of the day, so the finish holds through the ceremony, dinner and dancing.
Do you offer early-morning wedding appointments?
Yes. Early starts are routine; share your ready-by time and the schedule is planned backwards from it.
Can a makeup artist stay for photo touch-ups?
Touch-up attendance can be arranged when requested at booking, so an artist is scheduled for the window you need rather than added on the day.
Do you provide makeup for bridesmaids and mothers of the bride?
Yes. Bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom and other guests can be included in one on-location booking.
Do you travel to wedding venues?
How far in advance should I book a wedding makeup artist in Vancouver?
Dates are held on a first-inquiry basis, so book as early as your date is confirmed — especially for summer and holiday weekends.
