What happens during a trial?
Your skin is assessed and prepared, the look is designed and adjusted with you, lashes are tested, photographs are taken in different light, and the products and placement are written down so the look can be recreated exactly on the wedding day.

What the trial is actually for
A trial is a design session, not a rehearsal for its own sake. It answers three questions: how your skin behaves with a particular preparation and base, where on the natural-to-glam line you feel most like yourself, and how the result looks through a camera rather than a mirror.
Everything decided is recorded — products, shades, placement, lash choice — so nothing has to be re-explained on a wedding morning when the room is full and the schedule is tight.

How to prepare for your trial
Come with clean, moisturised skin and bring reference photographs of looks you like and looks you do not. Wearing a top in a colour close to your dress helps you judge the result, and it is worth planning the trial for a day when you can see the makeup in daylight and again in the evening.
Avoid introducing new active skincare or a facial in the days beforehand, so the skin you test on is the skin you will have.
From trial to wedding day
After the trial the agreed look becomes the plan for the morning, with the wedding-day timeline built around it. If you want to change direction afterwards, tell Haleh — adjustments are straightforward when they are known in advance.
